Tabetha Steege is a Wisconsin native and graduate of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. She recently joined the Operísima Mexico Studio, where she performed the role of Mimì in La Bohème and Contessa Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro.

Additional operatic roles include Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte (Brew City Opera), Nymph 1 in Rusalka (Milwaukee Opera Theatre), Papagena in The Magic Flute (Brew City Opera), Nella in Gianni Schicchi and Suor Angelica in Suor Angelica (Berlin Opera Academy), and Contessa Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro (Hawaii Performing Arts Festival and University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee).

Her concert work includes soprano soloist performances in Fauré’s Requiem and Bach’s Magnificat with the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Houston, Texas. She has also appeared as the soprano soloist in Handel’s Messiah with Fine Arts at First for their Annual Concert, an engagement she has reprised for multiple seasons.

Tabetha will participate in Wisconsin to Supporter of Opera Singers competition as a finalist in the 2026 competition.
