Originally from Saltillo, Coahuila, she comes from a family of educators. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Music, specializing in singing, from the Escuela Superior de Música of the Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila. She is a solo soprano and vocal instructor with the Saltillo Opera Company.
She has participated as a singer in the Mantova International Opera Studio in Italy, as well as in operatic galas, festivals, concerts, and recitals featuring opera, zarzuela, and Mexican music. Her performances include productions of La Traviata by Verdi, Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute) by Mozart, Suor Angelica by Puccini, Pagliacci by Mascagni, and Luisa Fernanda by Torroba in cities such as San Miguel de Allende, Monterrey, Mexico City, Torreón, San Luis Potosí, and Saltillo.
She has received awards for academic and artistic merit at UAdeC. Miriam has taken classes and participated in masterclasses with renowned singers from Mexico and abroad, as well as at public academies and universities in Coahuila.
In 2018, she met Maestro Rogelio during an advanced course in Saltillo. In January 2024, she participated in the operatic training course at Operísima México and returned to San Miguel de Allende in May to take part in the Opera Scenes concerts, followed by her role as Micaëla in Carmen.
Her greatest challenge as a singer has been learning and mastering repertoire in a very short period of time. Her goals are to continue learning and perfecting her singing, to speak both French and German fluently, and to seek opportunities abroad.
Miriams interests and hobbies include cycling and spending time with her pets.
