Originally from Nuevo León, she is the youngest of four siblings, all of whom were passionate about music in various genres. Estefanía began her musical studies as a pianist at a very young age and resumed them at 17. It was in college that she discovered her talent for singing opera, starting her training under the guidance of soprano Lydia Cepeda and later specializing as an opera singer at the Conservatorio Claudio Monteverdi in Bolzano, Italy, under the tutelage of tenor Ennio Capece.
She made her debut as Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana by P. Mascagni under the direction of Rogelio Riojas-Nolasco, where they first met. Riojas-Nolasco invited her to join Operísima México in the city of San Miguel de Allende, where she has participated in Rigoletto by G. Verdi (Maddalena), Don Giovanni by W. A. Mozart (Donna Elvira), Così fan tutte by W. A. Mozart (Dorabella), and Carmen by G. Bizet (Carmen).
“My greatest challenge in this profession has been the decision to be a full-time singer and dedicate myself to it. However, it was the best decision I could have made. My goals include continuing to grow vocally and learning complete operatic roles so I can audition for European opera houses and debut there.”
Among her hobbies are international cuisine, which she has learned self-taught, and dance. In the latter, she has excelled in productions of The Greatest Showman as a solo singer and part of the dance ensemble.
