Alfredo Carrillo, Tenor

Originally from Durango, Dgo., he began his vocal studies at the Casa de la Cultura in Durango. He won the “David Portilla” Youth Revelation Award at the Fanny Anitua National Competition in 2008 in Durango.

He met Maestro Rogelio during a masterclass in Durango and later worked with him in Torreón, Coahuila, and subsequently in San Miguel de Allende. With Operísima México, he has had the opportunity to study and perform the roles of Alfredo in La Traviata by G. Verdi (2023), Rodolfo in La Bohème by G. Puccini (2023), and Don José in Carmen by G. Bizet.

His greatest challenge is to be more disciplined and reach his full potential.
